The Social

I know this is dangerous territory, and I feel not at all equipped to be an authoritative voice on social matters, but nonetheless I have decided I will try to speak to my perspective on these things. As an African American in the literal sense (as in an American of direct African descent...from Africa as opposed to the Caribbean for example) I encounter a host of things worth talking about. As a human being who enjoys travel, I encounter still more. I will still maintain the distance I created this blog with--namely this will not be my dairy. I will merely discuss things in my life that warrant larger discussion or would help others for the telling.

My sudden perspective as a Conflict Resolution and Mediation specialist--more on this eventually--is what finally convinced me to take the plunge. So, to discourse of the third kind! May it be ever contentious!
